Sucessful Landing of the Space Shuttle

About an hour ago the shuttle landed in California at Edwards AFB in a night-time setting,(it was approx 8:12 a.m. eastern and 5:12 a.m. pacific),the video of the landing can be seen on msnbc.com. It was a good landing, considering that they were not scheduled to land in California, b/c the usual landing runway is in Florida, btu anyway they did a good job.

    P.S. my second post

are we going to get to see the shuttle piggyback back to cape canavarel again?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Yep, it will be catching a ride on a 747.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
