Wish I could but we got one of the busiest weekends at the club. May go to JFK Monday if the sun cooperates.

Chance of showers until 1pm, if it clears up and they're using 4 I'll probably head out there.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Brian and I will be out there with Jurgen (from out of town).

Eric, I'll call you in the a.m. to find out where you're at so we can hook up.

P.S. - Ron, your post re: 13/31 being closed on Saturday is music to my ears! :)

Funny, Eric, I was just going to start the same thread. :)

Jurgen Radier is in town and will be meeting up with Josh Akbar and myself (at LGA) at about 10AM. There are a few AC E175s due in as well, the most notable ones being at 0754 and 1237.

We should be out for the whole day, both airports, rain or shine. Anybody feel free to call my cell at 1-917-741-7739. We won't be able to have a conversation, seeing as ATT/Cingular is screwing me up the Gluteus Maximus, but you can call me just to hear me curse.

Futt/Josh I am working 0430-2130 Sat so for me 13-31 being closed sucks as nothing lands or takes off in front of me. All I get is DL/NW (yawn) taxiing by me. The E-175 officallly does not start till Monday, everything so far has been equip subs from YYZ. All the 319's show full tommorow so you may not see one but if I see a 175 is enroute I will call you on your cell with a heads up. Have Fun. Get to do it all over again on Sunday but get to sleep in, only 0600-2130., looks like they are planing a two runway operation for Sunday morning, the 13-31 construction is only scheduled for 18 hours !

You're right that 175 service doesn't officially start until Monday, but these equipment subs are even listed in the timetables for tomorrow and Sunday...

    The airline's site shows the E175s operating AC700, AC708, and AC718 for Saturday 7/30.

Either way, Ron, it'd be great to hear from you. Give me a call and maybe we can all meet up for lunch. :)

Thanks Futt, I guess that is why the 319's are full, they shrunk !

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

In a little bit of a predicament here, as Josh just called me and feels sick. So now I'm out of a ride (oh boohoo), but more importantly, Mr. Jurgen Radier has no one to rendezvous with at LGA.

Who is heading out today? The weather's crap right now, but there are still a few things to do and see. I haven't heard from Jurgen yet, but he should be by LGA (either Planeview or the terminals) between 10 and 11AM...and I'm still good to go meet up...but will need a ride...

Brian. it's 0845 and the weather here is really crap, I have not even taken my camera out of my bag, I would hold off till later. One other tip, there is major construction on taxiway Bravo near the A Concourse, lot of trucks and equipment. If you try and shoot the E-175 from the normal spot in the terminal you will probably get a lot of crap in the background., setting yourself up for a new a.net rejection reason, "Bad Bulldozer"

    Good Luck

    Ron
