Two of the F-18 static's left this morning, one of the callsigns was AMBUSH 1. He departed off 14 headed south into the clouds, so I could not tell which one it was.
The Golden Knights departed about 1130. I did not have a chance to drive past the museum this morning, so I am not sure what is left.
Word was the EA-6B was to leave today, it might have but I did not catch it. The EA-18G's were supposed to depart Tuesday, but Uncle Sam has his own schedule so who knows for sure.

FYI- When I took the tour of the Growler's cockpit today at the AAM, the crew from VAQ-129 said that their 2 Growlers and Prowler should be departing around 9AM on Tues.

The B-17 Yankee Lady, the two E/A-18 Growlers, the E/A-6B Prowler and the A-10 Warthog (Commander's ride) were all wheels up by 10:00AM. The two A-10's from the demo team were still on the ramp with their engines covered at 10:30AM when I left the museum.

I love the paint scheme on this guy

    A couple of the E/A-6B

The A-10 Warthog, the Commander's ride

And this USCG Dolphin stopped by for a few minutes

I never got to FRG to see the Navy aircraft close up. Can anyone forward to me detailed shots of the Prowler and F-18's for my own collection? I won't post anywhere, only for my personal use and collection. Please PM me.

    Pete

It will take me some time to go thru all my photos... Here is one of the few I took

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Fred, AWESOME job on all your night shots !! The special lighting you used behind the wheels of the A-10 and Growler and also on the tail of the EA-18G really make them AMAZING shots !!!
