A text from my BIL-denied boarding comp.

    Just got hte follwing text:

"Do you know about what the general compensation for a denied boarding after a confirmed seat request would be?"

    Any ideas?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

"If you are involuntarily denied boarding, and substitute transportation is scheduled to arrive at your destination between one and two hours after your original arrival time (between one and four hours on international flights), the airline must pay you an amount equal to your one-way fare to your final destination, with a $200 maximum." - http://www.travelsense.org/consumer/airlinebumping.cfm

    What's a BIL?

The airline doesn't matter...the compensation is set by law.

Oh, BIL, I got it now. What's with the wedding site lingo? haha
