    JFK 8/25

Great day, great company. By far the biggest NYCA turnout I' been to. The morning haze was tough and I'll edit those shots another day.

It was a great day today - a good group out to spot, and the afternoon weather turned out to be really nice (if a little warm). It was good to meet our international visitors, hope you enjoyed spotting at JFK. I haven't had a chance to go through my pictures, but did come across this one I thought I would share. Looks like Kenny (wunaladreamin) was shooting pictures of the ticks at The Mounds, but forgot to look over his shoulder...

Truly an enjoyable day and a fantastic turnout! I'm much to tired to even look at my shots from today. The afternoon at the mounds proved to be worth waiting for the morning fog to burn off. To both Florian and Paul it was great meeting you guys, I'm really happy you enjoyed JFK and it was great spending time with both of you, safe journeys!

I just love non-rev trips. I had a great time, nice meeting you all and I hope we can all do it again soon. Looks like I missed some action there towards the end. Until next time, see ya 'round.

It was great to meet Paul and Florian as well as Chris and to see some old faces again. Great day at JFK despite the 22R heavy action, getting hit in the head with a soccer ball, numerous delays, and loosing the sun 20 minutes early due to a camouflaged massive cloud system!

I'm thinking the reason why we got the Avianca MD-80 so late today was that it must have diverted at some point earlier in the day or it was just running on a delay.

Yes he was shooting that giant tick that chases everyone at the mounds and asks for ID. Nice day and it was great meeting Florian.

It was nice meeting many of you and putting faces to usernames.

It was especially fun for us as the little one was plane watching too.

Damn! The fog was so bad out here in Suffolk, I didn't bother to make the drive. Sorry I didn't, looks like it really cleared up for you guys.

Moose, great post-processing on the Pink Delta shot :D

Mario - I took a few pics of your kid. I haven't had time to do anything with the pics yet (like copy them to my computer), but I'll let you know.

It was good to meet you all...
