it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Here are a few of mine from Sunday. Big thanks to Fred for making these possible!

Personally, I prefer looking at the P-40 over the P-51.

Still have plenty more photos to go through.

That's the Collins Foundation "Nine O Nine". She was at Monmouth Airport over the holiday weekend, and is scheduled to be in Bridgeport and then Oxford, CT this week. Wonder if they stopped at FRG due to the weather?

Sorry I did not post more from Labor day weekend... Here are some more

I was very happy that I was able to take a ton of pictures of Chris taking his son up for the first ride in his daddy's P-51, I flew in Paul's T6 and the C-47 but that was by far the highlight of the weekend. I was glad to be there to document that moment for Chris and his family. Yes, Chris is a Bada$$ just like daddy!!!!

Great coverage Fred, I'm still bummed I missed it this year. You've really taken another step documenting Chris and his son. I love the portraits of both.

Sunday morning I went for a sunrise flight with Paul in his T-6 and had the Best Flight of My Life... A little cool with the Canopy open and had taken off the headset for a good 10 minutes or so and never felt so at peace. The only two Aircraft seen during the entire flight were on approach for JFK passing 1000 feet above us. To say it was amazing does not come close to this flight of a lifetime. Breathtakingly Peaceful with a side of total content and understood that I would never feel as content as I did as I flew over the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge as I see lower Manhattan basking in the very orange glow of the low sun rising over the Atlantic. Flying up there I could not help but wish I was a poet. It was funny that when Paul asked if I wanted to controls I responded "No, I am WAY TOO BUSY" and I was. I was documenting something most people could never come close to dreaming, and in colors that can not be captured with the greatest of imagination.

I have so many pictures and with so much going on, I think it will take a month to edit!!!

so I go home and try to rest but play some Xbox with my boys to get a call asking me to return to the AAM later in the day for a little photoshoot. Crap I am tired, but still I return to shoot a little more
