The United Nations will be opening its new session next week and will start off with the 2005 World Summit, where more than 170 heads of state are expected to attend. The summit is scheduled for Sept. 14-16, so it's quite likely we will see some interesting aviation visitors in the near future.

So if the summit is scheduled to last until Friday the 16th, does that mean we're likely to see all of the same interesting visitors coming back to JFK on the 16th (and Saturday the 17th)? I'm deciding whether to take Friday off from work, but I'd like to hear from others who have past experience chasing the UN-related flights.
