    LCY Question

in the picture above there is, what appears to be, a much shorter runway directly to the left (across the wayter) from LCY. anyone know what it is?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Weird, someone posted the same question on anet yesterday... turns out it's a temporary runway used for Red Bull air races.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

that makes sense. i've seen video of them being put up/ taken down. it's amazing how quick that can really be done.
