    Next A380 to service JFK?

After looking at the order sheet from the Airbus website I am wondering who is going to be the next airline to start sending A380s to JFK. Singapore already has taken delivery of a few whales already, but still fly the 747 to JFK so I'm not counting them in this thread. I will also leave out Qantas. Of the other arlines that currently serve JFK, I see that British Airways has some on order as well as Asiana, Etihad, and Virgin Atlantic.

I would think that the most likely candidate for the next airline to open up A380 serivce to JFK after taking delivery would be British since they have more than enough flow through JFK to warrant the necessity of flying that beast in on a daily basis, followed closely by Virgin Atlantic. Even though I think that the Etihad scheme would look good on the whale I would have to think that there is not enough demand for them to fly an A380 into JFK, unless they use a seating layout like Korean does.

    Thoughts?

Not sure what the delivery schedule looks like, but I'm pretty sure all the carriers you named will fly A380s to JFK.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

If that is the case, I must say that I am most looking forward to seeing the Etihad A380. I think that whale will look awesome in that gold color. Plus, it will arrive during one of the best times of the day for photographing it. I also wonder, how many of the 747 flights the 380 will replace on the BA routes...

Qantas A380, i doubt we would see that at JFK.. Etihad, BA and Virgin Atlantic, most likely we might possibly see those..

I hear that Qantas 107 itself is sometimes empty with more cargo than pax... I can't wait to see BAW A380 that should be sweet.

SQ is the next A380 operator to JFK with service start date of January 16, 2012.

I believe BA is/was on record as stating JFK would NOT be a route for their A380s, but I very much expect that to change in time.
Not sure if Virgin will take delivery.
Do not expect to see Qantas for the reasons stated above.
Etihad and Asiana may show up for a bit.
I suspect not all carriers that bring the A380 to JFK initially will keep them on the route long term (but such is the case with any aircraft).
But it is good to see, (as expected), JFK retains its trump status in the category of variety.
