Swiss Air to get Boeing 777s

This would be the first Boeing aircraft in the Swiss Fleet of recent history...?

Those are going to look really great in the Swiss colors.... Will be a good test for Lufthansa who are suppose to order 77F's to replace their MD11 cargo aircraft

LH has never operated an 777 so it would be great REGARDLESS... :)

They do have them for Tyrolean which is another sub so I am not sure why they stick to their 80+ fleet of aging and poor performing A346s ...

80+? There were only 99 A346s built. Lufti is the largest operator with 24, and the oldest one was delivered late 2003.

Nice to see that Swiss is going for Boeing aircraft again. I remembered when Swissair was around the only Boeing aircraft they had was the 747-357 which I flew on one of the 4 back in 96.
Sergio has been a huge Delta Air Lines fan since 1992!!

It's similar capacity to the 773ER, but goes 1000 miles shorter and has 2 more engines to break.
