Reuters photographer Molhem Barakat dies in Syria
This young man lost his life Friday practicing the art so that we may see what is happening in Syria. His photographs from the battle front are gripping, to say the least. We sit here and recount the 'risks' we take with aviation shooting in sensitive areas, well, these are deadly risks this kid faced, and they caught up with him. But not before he bravely showed us what life outside America can entail.

The blood stains on the lens is the most intense!

This guy was quite talented. I really liked a photo of his in which he caught a guy running from sniper fire...and the only way he could've gotten it was to have been in the line of fire himself. Insane to be able to take solid pictures under that kind of pressure.
