    US Navy Airship over Coney

Saw a US Navy Airship over Coney on July 10 around 1346. It was silver and had few markings. After hovering a while, it seemed to head back to the Naval Station at Lakehurst. You never know what to expect when visiting Coney Island Beach. An extra bonus was that many European inbounds used the ING Approach arriving via ASALT passing the beach. I saw AZA, ETD, PIA, THY, TSO, and the DLH Super and CCA. Had a blast until about 1600, when JFK did their usual and reverted back to all arrivals on 22L. It was fun while it lasted but my camera batteries were dying anyway. I use a crappy pocket camera which I dropped last week and now has a spot caused by a sand speck which won't budge. A suntan was the bonus.
