We went down to Florida last week for some racing and some time with the Mouse. I was also hoping to catch a launch at Cape Canaveral. There was a Delta IV launch planned for Wednesday evening, but it was pushed back to Friday. It was scheduled to go off around 7pm, but a few issues meant it launched at 8:26pm, a little after dark - I wasn't expecting that, so I was scrambling with settings at the last minute, and these didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. Given it was the first live launch I've seen since the Space Shuttle in 1983, I guess I need a little more practice.

Light 'em up!
Smoke on the pad after the launch.
