    Protecting an External HD

is there anyway to password pretect an external hard drive? my computer of course has password protection but that doesn't stop anyone from disconnecting my HD and taking it to another computer to utalize. can anyone help?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

The only way I know is through some software or by creating a master folder and password protecting that... if your HD allows it.
