I had to go to MSP last week for some recurrent training
Here are some of the cool pictures they have framed in the TechOps training area.
The 2nd day of our training we were at the old PanAm International Flight Academy, which used to be Mesabas general offices and still houses Compass, for our sim slot.
After a few years I am finally getting the hang of how to land the 200 pretty good and this time was probably my best one as far as keeping it on a good glide path, maintaining a good approach speed, keeping it on the centerline, and figured out when to flare and how slow to not slam it into the ground. So I was a little bummed when my phone kept stopping recording and I didn't get a video. I think I might take my GoPro next year.
Here are some from the past. I can say I have improved a lot since the last one.
