If they're departing 13 at LGA, you guys might want to roll over to the GCP pedestrian bridge at 31st Dr and Ditmars Blvd. My departure pics from last weekend were taken from the pedestrian bridge at 27th Ave (per the spotting map), and I felt like I'd have gotten a better angle if I were further east.

I had a bit of a change of plans...I'm coming out in the afternoon...Stefanie might come with me.

Not loving the wind direction though...we may end up with the dreaded 13s/4R config...

Right now it looks like I may make it out for Sunday. Will be in NJ most of the day Saturday, but unlike Andy, I don't expect to be out late

If the 13s are in use, I'll be doing departures then rather then arrivals.

If they are on 13's. Bayswater is the place to be for departures. You can also try Inwood park as a second option.
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

This is subject to change but due to forcasted rain on Saturday AM the Port at LGA plans on Sunday construction instead of the usual Saturday. Rwy 13-31 will be closed from 0600L to 1400L on Sunday, so either up and down 4 or 22 so Plainview could be fun on Sunday morning, early afternoon. Just in case this changes you might want to call ATIS before heading out.

    Re: Spotting Sunday 4/6??

I have not had access to my work e-mail since Thursday night nor will I again until mid day Sunday but with a 30 pct chance of rain now forecast for most of Sunday the LGA constuction I mentioned in the last post will probably be cancelled for this week and LGA will be on two runways.

Even though the advance forescast sounded great for Sunday sounding fairly crappy now, althought they have been off it seems like a lot lately.

    Good Luck Folks

Well I was up at 6:30 ready to hit Planeview, but when I saw the clouds I figured it wasn't worth going out for. I'm actually surprised you headed out Kenny. Curious to see how your shots come out.

Yeah I'm home already. Didn't get anything worth while from Plainview. Just played around with the camera and watched for a bit, but LGA will be on my calendar again soon. How'd the date go Andy?

I was out with the boys....windy as hell and cloudy. Nick had a great time playing Red Alert 2 in the car on my laptop. Jack was thrilled with every Mad Dog that passed! He was cheering as they took off and rumbled the car.

    Here are a few pics
