I was really hoping on going out today but unfortunately it turned out I had way too much work to do. I guess I'll have to go spotting when I get back from Chile!

Looks like the weather was great. Nice shots, Tommy.

It was really a great spotting day at Firestone. We had a good sized group and I was glad to meet and see some guys there.
3 Delta in NCs came in today:

Finnaly I caught this AA bird:

    Re: JFK March 2

Had another awesome day out spotting. Great people, lots of laughs, and some good catches, a few of which are new to me.

[WARNING: Lots of pics to follow]

Starting with this morning at Hobe:
    Cathay 31L Bank

    TAM 31L Bank

    Etihad 31L Bank

    Air China Cargo Bank

Emirates Lack of bank, but a nice bellyshot nonetheless...

ANA lack of bank, but a new catch for me

    Thai 31L Bank

    JAL 31L Bank

Korean Air 31L Bank, another new catch for me

Then we headed out to Firestone, where we enjoyed these:

    Cargolux 744

Adam's face with delight as Habitat joins the approach to 31R

    The prize

Another Emirates, can't get enough of this paint scheme

    Typical Swiss

Trying something new with El Al Cargo: a nose & engine shot

First new colors Delta 767-300ER! I think it looks pretty good

    Always a favorite

You no longer elude me Air Berlin...that's two weeks in a row

Haven't caught this one in a while...

    New for me as well

    Iceair posing as something else...

    Nicely lit

One day this shot will be Wunala...

Last shot of the day, with some really nice light

I would appreciate any and all commentary about these shots, particularly as to what's JP uploadable, what needs to be edited, what's outright wrong with any shots, anything you can offer to help me out. Thanks guys, had another great day! When it's warmer out, we'll remember to bring beach chairs and coolers of beer!

The "Abercrombie & Kent" 757-200 is chartered from Icelandair to fly luxury charters for the company. TF-FIA was operating a charter flight from CAI via KEF.

Skipped the early morning HoBe action, but got out to Firestone just after Noon. It was good to see everyone today!
It was cargo day today...I caught 7 different cargo aircraft, 6 of them 747s!

Abercrome & Kent is "the original luxury travel company" See more at http://www.abercrombiekent.com/
This is a hybrid Icelandair scheme, from what I saw on A.net, it has standard titles on the other side.

Well, the hunt for Habitat continues for me, since quite a few pictures could not be retrieved from the memory card and some were not there at all and Habitat was one of them. But it was a nice day nevertheless.
    Always a next time..

I'm jealous of the DHL catch, of all things ... I've only ever seen the tail of the DHL planes parked, never caught them coming or going. DHL and UPS are on my list to catch, but I've never had any luck. Haven't caught FedEx in a while, either, come to think of it.

We didn't get any FedEx planes yesterday, now that you mention it...they must all be going to EWR.
