Don't let that pic fool you, we were fighting bad clouds all morning, in fact I finally got the Philly Eagles just before this shot was taken and it's a little dark, not sure if it's salvagable. I am just glad the 1R morning was cloud free but believe me we don't call Jason sunman for nothing. All in all I consider myself lucky I got some sun on this tristar.Great catch Nick! caught a vc10 there,raf type back in '04, taking off in formation with 2 jaguars off of 25r while we were landing on 25left, those 4 conways spewing black, it was so loud that the roar was audible in our cockpit on short finals,now thats loud !
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
