Yes, hopefully the Courtyard is better! The photos might be no good, but you can still enjoy the view when you're not outside shooting. :)

I headed out at Sunrise this morning since the wx wasn't promising for the afternoon. Only thing worth shooting was SA.

They chaged runways to 22s and I knew that Aerolinas was bringing in a 340 but it was late. For some dumb reason. Mostly laziness I didn't walk to my suicide spot for 22L, it was cold too and watched it come in from Bayswater (DICKKKKKK). I got some decent departures, BA heavy and some others and headed to Hobe where I met Mark. We had a great time though the clouds came in and nothing from there was really workable. The Emirates took forever to get off the ground and had the sweetest bank too. I felt so bad for Mark but there is always next time. I hope he gets up to NY more often. It was a nice day out.

    That is great shot Nick!

As Nick eluded to - the weather was pretty nasty - anyone know how to replace cluds with sunny sky and redo the paintwork? I really liked the wing flex and the bank - just the %^$%&%&%# weather!

Love the wing flex on the Emirates! I would imagine for a passenger not expecting that, it must look scary from inside.

It was a pleasure to meet Mark and Peter and to see Eric again. We had a lot of fun spotting at both LGA & JFK. We had some good conversation as well as enjoying the many different ships that were arriving. I had a lot of fun photographing the three North American's that came in at 22L. I finally got some decent shots of them. Was even pleasant talking to the two NYPD officers. They were pretty cool and didn't bust chops. They should all be that way. Ya gotta come back soon Mark, or better yet we'll take a trip to PBI & FLL!

Here's the first from LGA. JFK to follow!

I love this shot of JetBlue:

Thanks guys. I am still steamed I moved and missed the Aerolinas 340 the sun was so good for my suicide spot. It wasn't even that cold.

I was even going to see how cold Bayswater was this morning. I mean it's 6 degrees here without the wind so it's probably going to feel like minus 15 there. Thought better of it though.

As Nick eluded to - the weather was pretty nasty - anyone know how to replace cluds with sunny sky and redo the paintwork? I really liked the wing flex and the bank - just the %^$%&%&%# weather!
Yikes, I knew you had a top of the day there too if the sun was out, what wing flex Mark! I knew when I saw her take forever to get up she would have the best bank. Sorry man that is harsh.

Here are a few of the MANY shots taken at JFK. I tried some new editing in Photoshop. Do they look better, worse or the same? I tend to lean towards warmer colors so they look a little darker to me. But then again my monitor's not calibrated either.

    Bellucci,

Your shots look pretty damn good! You've made huge improvements over the past few months. Where'd you learn your new techniques from?

Your last JFK shots are a little backlit though, but great otherwise.
