Where would you guys shoot these from? I drive past there everyday and I not sure how to get a good shot of any of those birds with the fence and the trees in the way.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Unfortunatly You will have to go up to the Brick wall. Its a very high risk place. I have never shot from there before. The Bastards repositioned the WOA new colors from a GREAT spot where it parked at last night. They must have done it after the Air China B742 left the ramp last night.

I was so disapointed when the other MD-11 arived just just the other one 1 mins apart whe they checked in on the radios. Its too bad the the new colors din't land first as its in a better space now.

Success does not come with a thorn (or was it barbed wire?) Pierced half way my Joint (middle finger) and ANOTHER sprained angle!
(this is the third time I have sprained an angle while shooting in my 13 years of aviaiton photography) :) GAWD the pain...

Nice work on the shots Senga! What time were you out there? I was out with the birds from noon until about 2. From the light, looks like you were out after that.....

Someone please get those departures tomorrow morning!

    Rich,
I was at JFK from 2:30pm - 3:30pm. I got there just in time for the sun to hit the left side of the planes. Where where you shooting from?

Yea, I was there when the sun was right on the tail....not exactly good.

I shot from the ramp all around it.

I got some shots last night, will post later.

Senga, you didn't point out the other catch in the W275WA photo. Just past the nose gear, just aft the landing gear doors, is a brand spanking new Lamborgini on a palette. See it covered in the tarp?

I literally ran my fingers underneath it and there was ZERO grime. It is just off the assembly line.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.
