Yes I will. I am off work. I might have to call in sick if the day it comes to CLT doesn't work out.
Saw one this evening, Ron...in new colors no less!
Along with a West 320, although we seem to get one or two of those a day.
American Airlines had their last 762 flights today - at least if you don't count the US birds.
Here you go...
What do you think about white Dashes?

Nice set and beautiful light!
Thanks for the Dash shots mr moose. I like how the horizontal stab is deflected on 327 as she pulls onto 18C. And you did nicely with the prop blur! -- I guess with the coming AA paint I'll have to start appreciating the white birds too. Better hurry out to CHO and snap some!
Beautiful lighting on the new colors. Looks like some bad "jetway rash" tough...
Word went out that the US Arizona Cardinals special was inbound this afternoon, so a number of us headed out to the overview to shoot the departure. Unfortunately, a line of thunderstorms approached about the same time. We had heavy rain, lightning, wind shear, and who knows what else. Atlanta Center stopped taking aircraft, so all of the westbound departures ended up parked on the taxiway leading to 18C for about half an hour, we had a US 330 go missed approach on 18R (they reported a 1,400 FPM decent due to wind shear) and they ended up diverting to Greenville/Spartanburg, SC. Then, as they were ready to start releasing the westbound departures, 5 aircraft went missed off 23, and approach turned them around and landed them opposite direction on 36L, holding up departures even longer. Through all that, we finally caught what we were after...
Dash 8 shut down on Taxiway E9. After they started departures to the west again, he called and asked how much longer they should expect to wait. Tower said "They can take a northbound departure, but they're looking for a jet..." An unidentified voice remarked "No respect" and the Dash pilot replied "We're used to it." Just making the best of a bad day...
We ended up with 3 West A319s today.
