That's a C-123 Provider, Gerald. They were used by the USAF and others from the early 1950s into the 1970s. Most notably, they were used in the Agent Orange spaying in Vietnam. This one is owned by the Air Heritage Museum in PA and makes the air show circuit. If you remember the movie "Con Air", they used a C-123 (not this one) in that movie.

It's probably either for the "Amazing Spiderman 2" being shot at Grumman Studios or the
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie that they're shooting down at Jones Beach West End Field.
BTW, I found this cool takeoff video of that C-123 "Thunder Pig" from back in 2011.
Where is "Grumman Studios"? I've never heard of it!

FYI- I went over to FRG today and they're shooting a TV pilot called "Believe" with the C-123.
They taxied the C-123 from SheltAir over to the Main Terminal to do more filming over there too.
I also talked to one of the American Heritage Pilots with the C-123 and he said if all goes well
they should be departing back to the Pittsburgh Area in the morning.

Actually, Friday afternoon there was a 737 that came in over 110 to land on R14. Didn't get a chance to look it up as I was stuck in brutal traffic trying to get home.
That would probably have been either the Islanders or Penguins flying in for their playoff game. They played in PIT on Thursday night, and at the Coliseum on Saturday. Don't remember what the Pens use for their charter, but the Islanders normally fly a Miami Air 737.
ETA: The Penguins flew in on Friday afternoon, Miami Air 734, arrived just after Noon. Islanders flew in Thursday night after the game.

Other than the Hockey Charters, which are now done, it has been fairly quiet. Just the usual bizzers. There was a Sabreliner in last week, but nothing special about it.
Air Show is in two weeks, things will pick up.
