Very nice pictures by the way, and hey... a Dauphin.

If you are around FRG the next week or so, you may see the red Waco biplane out and about. They installed the new engine, and today got everything tuned up and running smoothly. They have to put a number of hours (25, I think) droning around before they can carry passengers, so Jim will probably be out making orbits over the airport.

GOOD NEWS!
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
Good news indeed! She's just too gorgeous to be sitting around!

Its a mix of just happening to be there when something comes in/leaves/practices and being on this forum where "inside" info on future notable arrivals is published. I'm less than 20 away from FRG and if I have the time I'll cruise over to see what is going on. One never does know.
Also the AAM many times gives flight info on their Facebook page!!
Looks like there was a lot of T-6 action at FRG today.
I saw what appeared to be Dazzlin' Deb in the distance. I also saw another T-6 fly over my house with a red/white paint scheme that I don't recall ever seeing before.

Yes, Paul had Deb out today for a flight. They also were flying Truman, one of the museum's T-6s for pilot proficiency.

One of those private charter jets just flew over my house and it sounded like a screaming RC plane. Engines didn't sound good at all. Let me tell you, it was LOUD. Loud enough that everyone on the block popped their head out wondering what it was. Hope it landed safely.
Edit: Well, guess it landed safely. I wonder if anyone who works at one of the hangers knows what was up with that jet's engines.

Not very notable as it's just a G450, however...it does have some interesting nose art on it. Rather rare for a Gulfstream...apologies in advance if anyone is offended.
Nose Art Close up
And the warnings around that AOA sensor seem oddly appropriate as well!
