Here are a few mediocre shots. Only had the G11 with me today. Fred will have the good stuff later I'm sure of it. ;)
Word is, it will depart sometime on Sunday.

Nice, John! It's probably just a training mission. They have to get a certain amount of hours/sorties each month. If the pilot has friends/family in the area, or just wants a weekend in NY, they check out a jet, get a couple of hops in, and spend the weekend.

Yes, he came in on 14. I was sitting at my desk and heard a distinct roar, it took a second to realize what that screaming sound was, only a second. I ran outside to see him almost overhead, heading towards the south side of the tower. He passed the tower and then headed North, maybe 1/4 mile past Conklin. He then made a hard left turn so that he was flying on his side and made a wide sweeping turn to align himself with runway 14. A few seconds later he landed. I debated for a second if I had the time to run back in and get my camera, instead I just watched come in, which was nice for a change as I see most exciting things through the viewfinder on my camera.
Nice shots John, here are a few that I took from the other side of the fence:
and one of the Equine plane that came in on Wednesday:
Unfortunately, I do not have access to the other side of the fence. I tried taking a few night shots, they didn't come out very well. The plane was in a dark spot so it was difficult to focus on.

Was this you lijk604?
Yup Joe, that's me. Embarrassed to be seen without the 7D, but I didn't expect to shoot anything today with the crappy skies out. That monopod helped with the slow shutter speed on that lil camera. Lol!
Yea! Clearly he is confused as he can not find me! ahahah
I took some a few minutes ago....
