They are doing some maintenance on Fat Albert so they brought in his replacement "Ernie".

Kenny when did they break out of the clouds? Ceiling was pretty dreadful here in Manhattan.

Blue Angel #1 reported breaking out at 400ft.

They didn't do their usual formation arrival.

The pic of the approach isn't mine. The pictures that I have on the previous page were all shot through the fence.

My best shots of the arrivals from Home Depot. Go easy on me...these shots were taken literally 60 seconds after I mounted the lens I rented for the week, comprising my first go-around with some decent glass

Im sure Ill see/meet lots of you all this coming week, so pointers and tips are welcome :)

Anyone ever notice that every time the Blue Angels arrive it is either really overcast or raining?

I was by the tower earlier, number 2 still wasn't there ( I knew that one was missing when they arrived!) and Ernie landed at 8:16 PM and is now parked in the same area as the Blues, just further South. You can see him clearly on the access road just before you have to make the right at the stop sign.
