**All times reported in local time, four hours behind Zulu**

    Tuesday, 9/23
0740L: Morning! Argentina snuck in early this morning. Their 757-200, ARG-01 landed at JFK 0600L. Belgium departed Teterboro about 20 minutes ago for Andrews. Chile repositioned to Dulles last night. Qatar Amiri 777 is taxiing out for departure at Dulles now, headed back up to JFK. A Japan 777-300ER, 80-1112, is north of Winnipeg as JF001 for JFK, which is probably around three hours away? Today is the first day of the general debate, so we can expect stuff to start leaving already later today.

1030L: Qatar 777 at JFK, Argentina positioned to Dover around 0800L. Japan is descending now over Manhattan, so that three hour estimate was pretty spot on. Interesting that they only brought one plane this time around. Russia is on the way with RA-96023, an IL96, as RSD308. They departed Moscow about an hour ago, so should be landing just shy of 2100L. Turkmenistan and Qatar are amongst the aircraft scheduled to leave tonight.

1100L: Japan landed JFK, Qatar 777 is gone. Jordan is live on the trackers over at Islip, so may be coming back to the city soon. AF1 should be leaving around 2000L this evening.

1330L: Japan departed JFK for Dulles. Tajikistan just departed Stewart for JFK. Jordan never left Islip.

1410L: Both Equatorial Guinea birds returned from Stewart to EWR and departed EWR heading south. Tajikistan is back at JFK. Jordan is on its way back from Islip to LaGuardia, landing shortly.

1545L Iran’s A340-300, EP-IGA, is on the Kennedy approach over the Long Island Sound as IRAN02, should be landing in about 20-25 minutes.

1600L: Iran is about 10 out. Mali is coming in on a Lineage 1000, 9H-NYC (fitting tail number), to White Plains as AXY117A from Bamako via the Azores.

1745L: Iran at JFK. Qatar 748 is on the way back up to JFK and should be landing in 10-15 ish. Mali charter landed HPN about half an hour ago.

1800L: Qatar 748 landed JFK. Qatar Amiri's G700 (yes, they have a G700, although it's painted like all the Qrex jets), A7-CHE, departed Dulles a short while ago and seems to be headed for JFK as QAF5, should be landing in less than half an hour. A Turkey G550, TC-ATA, flew into Stewart about a half hour ago as TRK25 from Istanbul. A7-MHH, the Qatar 319 that came yesterday, departed Stewart around 1430L and headed back out to the Atlantic. Jordan is taxiing for departure at LaGuardia now. Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are due from Stewart to JFK this evening and should be heading home.

1840L: Qatar G700 landed JFK, Jordan is gone. Iran positioned to BWI, I think that's the first time they've gone there. Turkmenistan is on the way down from Stewart to JFK now as TUG3202, should be landing in 15 ish. Due out at 2100L.

1940L: Turkmenistan back at JFK. Tajikistan departed JFK about 30 mins ago. Russia is about an hour and a half out. Bolivia’s Falcon 900, FAB-001, is headed up the coast for Teterboro, should be landing in about an hour and a half.

2025L: Qatar 748 taxiing out for departure at JFK now. Kazakhstan just departed Stewart for JFK. Bolivia is south of DC, so about 45 minutes out, and Russia is over the Cape, so 45 left for them as well.

2135L: Qatar 748 and G700 are gone. Kazakhstan at JFK alongside Russia and Mozambique Qrex (this one just popped back over from Farmingdale).

2140L: JFK just got shut down, so AF1 should be headed out soon.

1245L: Germany landed TEB. Japans, Spain, and Indonesia are gone. Qatar 343 taxiing out now. Can Force One departed Teterboro about 15 mins ago headed back home.

1355L: Czechia is live on the trackers which means it should be leaving Farmingdale shortly. Going to Logan first and then back home to Prague tonight. The Turkish Gulfstream that came yesterday is airborne out of Stewart for JFK as TRK5, the 748 and 330 should be following behind shortly.

Forgot to mention that the other German Global (14+06) repositioned to Teterboro after dropping off at JFK yesterday.

1330L: Congo and Slovakia are still in the departure line at JFK. South Africa just landed JFK. The German Global appears to have turned around and may be returning to Teterboro.

1445L: Congo and Slovakia out. Congo is headed to... yup, you guessed it... Oklahoma City? Not sure what's up with that. German Global returned to Teterboro. They went from a climb straight into a descent, so maybe a mechanical issue? Slovenia is due to depart Teterboro shortly for Cleveland (Cleveland has the highest number of Slovenians of any city outside of Slovenia, believe it or not), so gonna have to run to Hopkins to get that one.

1605L: Turkey G550 is back at JFK from Andrews, going back up to Stewart later. Slovenia hasn’t left TEB yet.

    Friday, 9/26

2030L: DRC is gone. Swaziland and Colombia are back at JFK. UK departed Islip 15 ish ago heading directly back to the UK. Iran and Kuwait 345 are on the way into JFK from BWI and Stewart, respectively. Iran is about 10 out, and Kuwait is probably 20-25 out.

2245L: Colombia left JFK around 2215L. Swaziland and Iran both just took off outta JFK. Kuwait 345 and 319 are on the ground at Kennedy along with Bulgaria, who came down from SWF about an hour ago. Three government A340s on the ground earlier, that's pretty awesome.

    Saturday, 9/27
0940L: Kuwait duo and Bulgaria left JFK last night. Botswana departed Teterboro about 20 mins ago and seems to be headed out to the ocean. Saudi Alpha Star 319 (SKY4) repositioned from Islip to JFK this morning and departed JFK just before 0700L. Iraq is taxiing out of SWF now for JFK.

Sierra Leone departed TEB around 1800L yesterday to DC. Azerbaijan's G650 departed Newark early yesterday headed to London. Turkey's A400 came back into JFK on Thursday evening from Andrews and then departed a couple hours later for Europe. We're at the end of the general debate week, which begs the question: who's left? Dubai is at Islip (I bet you forgot they were still here), Saudi Alpha Star A330 is at Stewart, Equatorial Guinea Falcon is at Newark, Panama and VP-CKH are at White Plains, Israel is at JFK, and Greece and Colombia are at Teterboro. I assume most of those will leave tomorrow and Monday.

    Sunday, 9/28
1410L: Panama departed HPN right around 1045L for Panama City. The Mali Embraer charter is coming back to HPN from Shannon, likely to pick up the Malian PM. ETA 1615L.

This means that all that's left are Mali, Dubai, and Equatorial Guinea's Falcon, which is still at EWR.

    Tuesday, 9/30
0825L: Dubai came back to JFK this morning, picked up, and departed about 10 mins ago for London. A Colombia 737-400, FAC1209, went to Stewart last night around 2130L from Dayton. Mali charter departed HPN yesterday around 2200L back home to Bamako via the Azores.

    Wednesday, 10/1
1915L: It's October already?? Equatorial Guinea's Falcon finally left Newark today around 1530L. Colombia's 737-400 is still up at Stewart, but other than that, UNGA 2025 is ovahhhhh. I swear every year goes by quicker than the year before. This year was probably one of the best years for UNGA spotting given the sheer volume of traffic. Of course we don't have any of the classic metal anymore (Burkina Faso 727, Gambia IL62, Congo 707, etc), but the number of visitors this year made up for it in my opinion. I'll post the full list of aircraft once I get a chance to compile that over the weekend. It was really great seeing everyone a couple weekends ago, some familiar faces and some new ones too. 350 ish days till the next one. P.S. another Russian IL96 came into JFK today, dropped off, and repositioned to Dulles. Keep an eye out over the coming days for a potential return trip.

    Saturday, 10/4
0250L: A little cold is keeping me up at this hour. The Colombian 737-400 departed Stewart Thursday morning for the DC area, which means we're officially done. A7-MSD, Qatar Amiri's 777-200LR, paid JFK another visit late Wednesday night and departed Thursday evening. RA-96023, the Russian IL96 that stopped by JFK on Wednesday, is still at Dulles. I would expect them to be coming back through the NY area at some point over the weekend. See below the final list of visitors for this year's UNGA:

*I think AirX (the operator of 9H-NYC) uses random-callsign-generator.net. Check out the history of that airplane... every flight has a completely different callsign from the one prior.

This year beat last year by a landslide in my opinion. We had most of our usual suspects this year in addition to some rarer ones for UNGA (e.g. Bulgaria, Indonesia, Slovenia, Vietjet). I was lucky enough to catch that Slovenian jet at Cleveland Hopkins later in the week (their president visited Cleveland right after her UNGA speech), which we quite possibly might never see in the US again.

And he did it again this year... third time's a charm in 2026?

It was great seeing so many of you during the arrivals weekend! Plenty of familiar faces along with some new ones. I'm going to try to figure out how to get my photos on the forum eventually.

Only 11 months till the next one. Until then, happy spotting!

Have they used 13L at all or landings? I only remember Indonesia and one of the Qatar Amiri A320s landing there. Anyone else? It's mostly been 4/22s everyday.

..well until today Friday 26th! Kennedy finally changed the pattern and used 31s all morning until early afternoon. MEA and Azerbaijan wouldn't show up at all on some years so Azerbaijan is making up for lost time. Looks like there's no party like an Azerbaijan party (or shopping spree) so they brought THREE aircraft - only Qatar can bring more. Speaking of Qatar, their vip A332 was still wearing the older Oryx tail style which goes down to the fuselage.

Iran had to leave at night as usual boo!! Colombia better be leaving quick after what their president tried to incite, don't let the door hit ya edit: JFK finally used 13s, for a couple of hours Saturday the 27th

Guinea Ecuatorial P4-SKN left to Miami, then flew back up and then to LA out west - the paintscheme looks like a flying ghetto Cadillac

I've finally decided to start uploading my stuff to Flickr. Let me know if that link doesn't work.

Another project I've been working on over the weekend... a master list of all the UNGA aircraft since 2016 (each year has a different tab in the Google Sheets). If anything is missing in there, please let me know and I'll add it! This will hopefully be a good resource to help determine what to expect in the future, and it'll also be a cool thing to look at in a decade to see what's changed over time.
