    7-31 JFK, Who is in?

    Hey All,

I'm planning on heading out to do my standard en route stop at JFK for most of the day on Friday. It's looking sunny, and I'm expecting to arrive between 12:00 and 1:00 and staying until sunset. Hope to see some of you guys out and about later in the day!

    Mark

Nice shots Jason! It was great meeting you too and chasing down the 787 later on. I'm hoping to get around to processing and posting some tomorrow.

Here's a few from early on, more to come over the next few days.

Started the day shooting some departures off 31L

Next up was a stop at Panera for arrivals, which was plagued by heat haze.

Here's the rest from the 31st! Did I mention I hate heat haze? Most of my shots from Panera were unusable on closer examination, just too much distortion.

A quick stop at the Mounds was made prior to them switching to the 13s for landing for the rest of the day.

I then bounced around a few other spots until Belt Parkway traffic went down enough to call it a day and continue my journey south to New Jersey.

Great shots Mark. I see you got the AT 787, too.

Thanks Jason! I finished out the day with the second 787, great light or not, a regional jet parade wasn't going to beat that golden glow on the wings of Air Maroc's 787 as it banked past the park I set up shop at.
