FINALLY! - Alaska crosses the Hudson
According to A-Net, Alaska is to start daily SEA-JFK in Sept. with an early a.m. flight.

From the USA Today article: " For its JFK route, Alaska Air's eastbound flight will be a red-eye, departing Seattle at 9:35 p.m. and landing at JFK at 6 a.m., all times local. The return departs at 7:15 a.m. and lands in Seattle at 10:15 a.m." The flight to JFK will be almost exactly the same time as the B6 flight. However, both airlines will have drastically different flights going west. Nice move by Alaska and really hope they make it at JFK. I just wonder if that will in time have any effect on the EWR operations being cut down.

The timing is good for cruises, but the flight starts right as cruise season is ending!
