Been lucky the two days I found time to hang out by the D&B parking lot and got some Warbird action!! Today got there about 3 and boy was it quiet. Did a loop of the airport and by the time I settled in the DC-3 was cranking up and two T-6s went out south then came back in for a FlyBy before landing!! The DC-3 went up but only for two nice Flybys before landing!! Later the Mustang and Thunderbolt (Jackys Revenge) went up, planning on a flight of two, but as they were getting ready to come in the Thunderbolt pilot saw a puff of smoke he didnt like and brought it in for landing!! That didnt deter the Mustrang who made three nice FlyBys, the last being nice and low and fast, then a nice looping landing!! Dont think he got past Conklin Street when he turned in!! By that time, around 4PM heavy weather was on the horizon to the W/SW so I headed home but did hear on my scanner by the time I got home another aircraft did go up for FlyBys.
Fred ..... nothing short of outstanding! The ramp shot is awesome.
