It was kind of rough shooting today in less than favorable conditions but here are a few decent ones I got. I like the burner shot although I almost cracked my head open getting it. Hoping for better tomorrow down at the beach! .Blue Angels 5.23.14-1 by BigTim70, on Flickr Blue Angels 5.23.14-2 by BigTim70, on Flickr Blue Angels 5.23.14-3 by BigTim70, on Flickr Blue Angels 5.23.14-4 by BigTim70, on Flickr Blue Angels 5.23.14-5 by BigTim70, on Flickr Blue Angels 5.23.14-6 by BigTim70, on Flickr Blue Angels 5.23.14-8 by BigTim70, on Flickr Blue Angels 5.23.14-9 by BigTim70, on Flickr

Brutal conditions at Farmingdale today
And at the beach

So far the weather has been disappointing to say the least. Here are a few from Friday's outing.
After an early morning live remote at the Airpower Museum, I headed down to the beach - Meteorologist Bill Evans told me himself that the clouds would burn off and we'd get to see some flying today...I did get to see an Osprey fly for the first time, and Fat Albert made a few passes checking the ceiling before the Blues cancelled.

The only action I saw at the beach! It was nice seeing Moose and Isaac there too.
Mark, the angle of the last Albert shot is great. I was at the beach then briefly at the aam. Will post photos tomorrow or tomorrow night. Hitting the show on Sunday. May go to the Home Depot lot for a bit tomorrow for landings at aam.
Hi guys, quick newbie camera question:
I got a Canon T5i for Christmas, can you guys tell me what settings I want for:
1. Blue Angels Demo
2. Slower Warbirds (and not have a frozen prop)
3. Static displays at the AAM
I'm planning to be at AAM late morning/early afternoon, so if you see a guy w/glasses and a blue shirt w/Bender on it that says "Crazy Robot Attack".... that's me :)
Bill
