Had a great night out spotting with Jared and Sergio at T5. Also a couple from a quick stop at T1 before we called it a night.

Spectacular shots,
There is something very special about airports at night and you have it captured very well - would love to get the opportunity to do some of the same on my next trip to JFK

Sergio, the fourth shot...what is that?

May I suggest lower ISO and longer exposure?
Sergio, without a tripod it's near impossible to accomplish. It would also be beneficial to shoot in full manual mode.

Thanks for the compliments on the other post kenny! I thought I'd just move them here(everything in one place)
These are all off facebook since I'm lazy tonight...They really know how to ruin image quality LOL!
These are also quick edits. The watermark is something i use on Facebook so my friends can't mess with my image to get at me LOL!
Probably the youngest spotter ever to walk up the face of the mounds.

Great night work guys, one day I will join you for it
Thanks William. Let us know when you are in town again. We'll do it. Night shooting really takes spotting to a different place. BTW, I'm still hoping to come down to PHL again. Just that biz travel hasn't taken me that way for a while.

Nice shots Don and Sergio ..... Sorry to hear about your tripod. A key to night shots is to have a tripod that is solid and a shutter release cable or remote. I shoot with the mirror up with an f-stop of f/8 or higher and adjust the shutter speed while shooting in Manual mode. You are better off shooting RAW and adjust the white balance during post processing. I typically take 4 to 5 shots and adjust the shutter speed either for a longer or shorter duration as need. Sergio, what were your settings?
Additionally, if there is wind and shooting on a tripod you are bound to have a blurred image. Also, vibrations from vehicles driving in the garage area doesn't help either.
