I originally had a fairly long winded post (ask anyone who’s ever edited me, I love to overwrite) for today, but decided to trash it in favor of being short and sweet. Or at least short.
Today is my last day working for NYCAviation. Though it was a tough call, I made the decision earlier this month as I’ve been moving toward making photography a full time career.
It’s been an absolute privilege to work for NYCA over the past three years and help serve up some serious avgeek-based awesomeness. Between overseeing our correspondents, planning out coverage, and getting into the field myself it’s been nothing short of an awesome ride. I want to thank our staff team; Phil, Jason, and our beloved Matt for their support and of course for putting up with me…and all of you for at least pretending my articles were worth reading .
While I may be leaving the NYCA staff, I’m certainly not leaving this community. You all have felt like another family to me since I joined up in 2008. The support, encouragement, advice, and friendships I’ve received and made here have meant the world to me and will absolutely continue to.
I don’t yet know where this new phase of life will take me, but wherever and whatever it is, I look forward to sharing it with you all as it unfolds.
Blue Skies,
Jeremy
