Way too hazy. I wouldn't even bother.

I would have to agree in this case, but heat haze is not always the end of the world. For instance, if the shot is of a rare bird, or unique situation the screeners tend to be more lenient. Case and point- I was at the recent JFK Runway Run, which was the ultimate in field access. Heat haze was rampant that morning. All the spotters were shooting under the same conditions. I decided not to bother submitting to JP or ANEt because of the slight distortion in my shots. Low and behold, I am seeing photos being accepted now that were shot right by my side that day. Never give up trying!

Nice. Try learning and editing without any help. I find it way more gratifying, imo.
Rom, I understand where your coming from and I learned how to edit without any help. It was that one shot i had trouble with. I have a streak going of five by myself! Thanks...

Thoughts? I underexposed the original, and since I think I got it to an acceptable point?

Very nice! I'm just concerned about the empty space in the bottom half of the shot... Have your tried different crops, like zooming on the a/c on the right and cropping the other in an interesting fashion, all the while retaining the rainbow?
