    DFW: 2/24/13 & 3/3/13- AA 777-300ER, MD-80s, MD-11Fs, and more (Image Heavy)

    Hello All,

Finally got around to editing my 2 most recent sets of DFW images, and decided to combine them all in one thread so as to save space. These pic were taken on the past 2 Sundays, both of which have featured beautiful (if somewhat windy) spotting weather.

    From the 24th

My first UPS aircraft in flight

These new little guys still look strange to me

    The workhorse and the tower

    Somewhat run down nowadays

From feast to famine with this one, almost 3 years without managing to catch her, only to get here 3 DFW visits in a row

    Heavy landing from Europe

And from the 3rd of March

I do love these Black-Nosed Maddogs

I for one am not looking forward to the day when the 787 will replace these beauties

Not the best photo, by my first of this bird

Guess I need to start shooting these finally, as they may start vanishing

And finally, the highlight. This has quickly become my favorite 777-300ER scheme out there, and I suspect it will be the same with the 777-200ER when I see her done up

And landing on the conclusion of her first flight to London

Anyhow, I hope you have enjoyed!

    Cheers,

    Nick

awesome set!!! the new paint looks good on the 777, 767, and jungle jets...anything else it's pretty meh IMO. I remember seeing the 777 parked out there when I flew out of DFW last month. Pretty neat to see it in person, I gotta say.
Have you ever seen a grown man naked?

Thanks guys. DFW is definitely worth visiting at least once, even if you do not like AA metal.

Just realized that up above I meant to write from famine to feast instead of the opposite... Never post when tired!

Wow!!! Incredible set!! That new livery definitely does look good on the 777.

This set definitely does make me want to get out to DFW this year! I'm thinking this fall for sure!
