Wow. Some of the videos coming out of this are INSANE. So horrifying, yet I find the raw power of Eartha dn space to be so beautiful. I'm blown away, no pun.

I'm speechless.
For a second I thought it was a Korean missile gone awry. Wow ..... Awesome footage.
Well...if that wasn't a reminder to make every day count I don't know what is.
Incredible stuff!! And correct me if I'm wrong but in HG Wells "The War of The Worlds" didnt the alien invasion disguise the landings as meteors falling to the earth? Mmmmmmmm.....
I'm not exactly sure what I would do if I were witness to that but I am sure that as the shock wave reached me I would assume the worse and just **** myself initially. My buddy called me freaking out, apparently he is a day drinker.

I would assume by now there would cameras and pictures of the actual impact crater/meteor but none have surfaced yet... anyone here have any links to such?

I don't know that there was one large impact spot, Manny. From all I've read, it sounds like it exploded in the air (approx 35K feet) and came down in small pieces. I saw one video (TV news, maybe) where some guy went out on a frozen lake and was picking up little dime-sized pieces out of the snow.

OK thanks guys... I have seen that pic too, Rom, Thanks... There was another picture of a factory that had half its roof blown out but not many more. Lots of videos of it crossing overhead over many small towns and cities... AMAZING how bright this thing was!
