    The "government transparency group" is run by a former Republican House staffer who still finds it worthwhile to post the names of groups that he suspects of being allied with ACORN (zOMG!)

    If we're going to put news on this site, can we at least make it news? I don't see how this story relates in even the tiniest bit to the practice of aviation anywhere in the world.

    It's news/commentary, not straight news. Even if this incident is being overblown, I think it's a good opportunity to discuss the effects of a Romney/Ryan FAA vs the status quo, for better or for worse.

    I don't think Romney has mentioned anything specifically about the FAA, but Paul Ryan's budget plan leaves little money for federal agencies outside of Defense and Social Security.
