Definitely better variety of traffic at MIA.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
FLL is cool, lots of little Twin Cessnas and stuff heading out to the Bahamas, but MIA has lots of cargo, a whole lot of stored stuff if you want to nook and cranny on the north side, European widebodies, and Latin American airlines you've never heard of. Definitely MIA.
KMIA all the way. I find the comparison similar to comparing JFK to HPN FLL is great but if you only have one shot and want to get the best selection of small, medium, large, foreign, domestic, pax, cargo etc., go KMIA

BRING BACK THE KJFK/KLGA OBSERVATION DECKS
I'll be at Miami on Monday myself.
nwa FOREVER!
go to MIA...el dorado...you won't be disappointed.
Have you ever seen a grown man naked?
thank you everyone for this tip as I had the same question myself and plan to go down there sometime next year- MIA it is(although I went in and out of FLL on American Trans Air 727's in '98 and it didn't seem to be too dull ops-wise)
I may do some MIA spotting when I'm down there next week.

We ended up heading to MIA for the morning of the 21st, an then FLL for a little in the afternoon. We also went to FLL again today for a few hours. Will post review tomorrow or sunday!

FLL gets more action ;)
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.
