Yeah that thing is pretty awesome. He was at Oshkosh again this year but don't think he did any flying. I was disappointed that I wasn't able to make it to a seminar he did. Not sure what the status of the development is now.
This thing doesn't go very fast and it's not pretty, but it's much more practical than the Terrafugia "roadable aircraft" or the Icon flying boat...both of which I think are silly toys that rich folks are going to kill themselves trying to fly.
