Maybe I can sell my liver or a kidney for it.......I am sure it will be an amazing lens.

I'd imagine it'll be closer to $7000. Which means I have to decide whether upgrading to a 1D or getting this lens is more important. (Not that I'll be able to afford either in the next 2 or 3 years...)

Guess I better get a second job if I want that. Oh wait, if I get a second job to get that, then I'd never have any time to go spotting or take pictures. :-( Maybe if I were to sell my truck and pay off the loan.........nah can't do that either. Guess I'll just have to wait a while and save the money up.

I have a feeling they have the same idea up their sleeve... but, the 200-400mm f/4 was just updated to VRII and Nano Coating so am not sure they will come up with a built in TC version any time soon. BUT a new lens with this trick may be really competitive LOL.
