JFK/LGA 10/31/10

Going to try to get some JFK in the morning and LGA in the afternoon... hopefully. Looks to be a nice day too. Anyone up for some watching?

I always PLAN on being out there . Only the family and friends get in the way (and work during the week) so I may see you. If at JFK, HoBe, Costco/Panera (Firestone) or The Mounds, look for a silver Lexus SUV with NYS Ham Radio plates. If at Bayswater, well, no way you can miss one of us there

BTW, I have my picture in my profile. Although I'd likely be wearing much lesser attire lol.

I am very easy to pick out. I have an a700 with the Sony 70-400 G, and it's in a platinum color that doesn't look like Canon White. ;) A red Red Sox windbreaker and a beige floppy hat, if I have them with me.

Winds predicted at the NW, so likely to be a Bayswater/Costco day?

ANA grounded after the walkway malfunctioned and damaged the L1 door. From my sources it sounds like they have to replace the entire door on this new bird.

That special bird is PrivatAir :-) Pat of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines it seems. I was spotting it from HoBe ... nice to see a closeup of it :-) Indeed rare at JFK... and it is finally gone, was not there today.

Ah ok. Well its def gone today. Replaced with a A319CF. As for saudi, Its a 747-200 with RR engines. Pictures to be posted tonight when I get home.
