that's awesome! hope it passes!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Oh sweet. I would love to see one of these. I've never seen one before.
There is one at the AAM

Yea. Take the one from the museum here fix it up and we can see it fly in warbirds over LI :borat:Originally Posted by Fighting_falcon_51
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the cockpit, engines, and all avionics are taken out of the one at the AAM :( :(
I think, the odds are, the Collings foundation will be taking one out of the Boneyard or something of the like for restoring the airworthy aircraft.
Anyway, consider this..the Foundation already flies an F-4, A-4, UH-1, and a couple Mig-21s. If this thing gets flying, and add in the LSFM UH-1, A-1, and a couple A-26s as well...imagine the possibilities for the future of Vietnam re-enactments!
It has an engine, Avionics but is not in great shape... here is the cockpitOriginally Posted by Fighting_falcon_51

Well thats where the word restoration comes into play :borat: An F-105 at AAM fully restored and airworthy. It would look sweet. :DOriginally Posted by Derf
I think this is an awesome idea. Too bad the Tomcat will probably not get the same chance here in the USA. I have a wood model of one right next to my computer down in Florida.
