I have done some too and it is fun...cheap and in your case REALLY CHEAP! lolol
I have see cardboard boxes with sides cut out and lined with white paper, I have seen pvc, and I have seen paper as here. ANY lightbox is a good lightbox.
Nice work, the only thing was you may try to get a wider depth of field for the light so the entire name was in focus. And make sure you do not hack the flashlight to make it so powerful that you can set paper on fire...that could damage the sensor of your camera if you do that and take a picture of it on!! lolol

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Those are nice shots! I haven't tried this "lightboxing". :)
