41 in West Palm with a wind chill of 33! We went down to Ft Lauderdale this morning - roads were, well, normal turnpike drivers - idiots - one big accident we saw..but..it's just freaking cold now!

Daytona too. Sleet/snow mix. Never went above 38 here yesterday.

I will say I loved it yesterday. I guess its time to move back to NY.

I am glad it is moving out. I postponed my trip to Florida till the weekend to beat the weather. It should be sunny and back in the 70's for my arrival down there and I am quite pleased. My last few trips down home to Florida which I do about monthly have seen relatively crappy weather almost every time.

    Re: Snow in Florida

I think the meteorologists wanted to see it more than anything else (I woke up too late) but from what I heard only minor specks fell down sporadically and were hard to see among a light rain during that morning at least in Orlando.

Unreal, about 12 days of minimum temps that didn't get out of the 30s. Record was 6 days in a row. Coldest daytime high temp since 1989 for Orlando.

So glad "global warming" has returned! Can't stand the cold

Polar bears might not find any ice and be extinct in 5 years (according to global warming theory circa the mid 90's prediction) but a stretch of cooler temperatures put manatees and sea turtles in danger right now.
