    JFK 12/06/2009 sort-of review...

It was a beautiful day to be out, but cold as all heck. The wind off the bay was brutal. Unfortunately I have no photos to share, but next trip I will for sure. Forgot how much I love spotting. I explored a bit, and found Charles Park in Howard Beach, the Firestone, and Bayswater. The water's edge at Bayswater was by far my favorite location.

Got to watch some good stuff. JAL5 made a low departure over Howard Beach with 777 JA-739J. Couldn't manage to get any other registrations, and by the time I left, was kicking myself for not bringing the camera.

Then I swung over to check out Bayswater. I was instantly in love with the spot. Though you can't really shoot everything, you can see everything. On the way over, I noted Evergreen N482EV and N487EV on their ramp.

The time at Bayswater was colorful. Catches of note in my modest opinion were:

    Arrivals: AUA87 B763, VRD404 A320, SWR22B A332, N606SM LJ25 (Jet Logistics Ltd.), AZA604 B763
    Departures: N450JE GLF4 (N450JE Charters), AJM0014 A321, CPA831 B77W (Favorite of the Day), UZB102 B763

I can't wait to go back, though with a warmer scarf, and hopefully meet up with some of you guys eventually. Wouldn't mind finding a 3XL NYCA T-shirt either! :D

Cheers to some day long shooting next run!
