After some research, that excavator is a Liebher R9800, with a shovel capacity of about 42 cubic meters.

(earlier error corrected)
1 cubic meter = 1.308 cubic yards
(42 cu. m)(1.308) = 54.936 cu yds
(202 gal/cu yd)(54.936 cu yds) = 11,097.072 gal
(8.35 lbs/gal)(11,097.072) = 92,660.551

Your math is wrong because you said 47x1.308, but you earlier quoted the Liebher as holding 42 cubic meters. Where'd the 47 come from?
103,000 lbs sounds a bit high though.
The numbers seem astronomical to me, but if it is indeed 42 cubic meters, I come up with 92,075 lbs of water.

An average household pool that's 24x16x4 holds about 11,500 gallons of water, and size-wise, that scoop looks about right. So maybe the numbers work.
Keep in mind, the Evergreen Supertanker can carry 20,000 gallons, at a liquid paylod of 167,000 lbs.
