I wish John was here this year, it doesn't seem quite the same wihtout him taking the News people up all week. He's one of my personal fav's in terms of civilian aviators but like I said, I think he's overseas defending freedom.

EVERYONE IS THERE TO SEE THE SHERPA!
Well, there's a full show practice schedule, so most of the performers will be in and out of FRG.

I spent the entire day at KFRG yeterday. Was evenn able to see the Thundebirds take off, then drive to Jones beach and cuaght 10 minutes of the show. Headed back and was able to see the Snowbirds, 2 A-10's and the F-18 land!
THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
THUNDERBIRDS
SNOWBIRDS
Sorry, not much here as they landed quickly and parked at the other end of the runway.
F-18'S
A 10'S
Today there was a Snowbirds and T-Birds practice and the three horseman and Matt Chapman arrived, the times were pretty close but still off.
The Thunderbirds did not have the meet and greet but after their debrief they came to the main terminal for pictures and autographs
Later today 2 Navy jets came I dont know what type of plane it is but they are both parked near sheltair (They look like a Learjet but just not the same)

They could be in for Fleet Week...usually have a few around every year. They do not participate in the show, they just make the tarmac look really nice. :mrgreen:Originally Posted by Fighting_falcon_51
Probally thinking of the saberliner that is parked in the back of the ramp
No, two T-45s came in around 4:45 or so. The first was Rocket 4-0-5 who did a fast flyby on 1-9 then banked west and did a flybyOriginally Posted by h2opunk1822
past the Tower then landed 1-4. The second one, Rocket 4-0-6 came about 15 minutes later normally (LOL) on 1-4. Both are at Sheltair.
Yes, there are a couple of T-45s in, but there is also a T-39 Saberliner at the far end of the Sheltair ramp, near the fuel farm.Originally Posted by Gerard
