The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
330.. i wish 330.. they started showing up around 8am.. and left around 3.. it was the most aggravating day i have had since i have been there.. we just got scoped out for a upcoming movie with angelina jolie which if we do get chosen should be interesting to say the least but ill make sure i have the day/s off wayyy ahead of time
Thats pretty wild considering its about 5 minutes or so of actual screen time.Originally Posted by h2opunk1822
The Angelina movie is called "Salt" and she plays a CIA agent accused of being a sleeper agent who must avoid capture
to prove her innocence. From what I read they have started filming and are using some buildings at the Grumman facility
in Bethpage along with Manhattan locations.
I used to work the flight line at Long Beach (CA) Airport and was there for the filming of several movies. It's not a lot of fun. Running around all the film crews with a 10,000 gallon tanker was not fun.
EVERYONE IS THERE TO SEE THE SHERPA!
i know the feeling, been there and done that at airshows for the past 5 years. even though our trucks were only 7000 gallon we spent two years of that driving around the statics through the crowd to fuel performers because the organizers refused to give us a straight line from the fuel farm. was better the last three years i did it, but then again there was a lot less work...Originally Posted by Big Tim #70
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
angelina jolie playing a cia agent.. never seen her in that role before
Trump 76 came into Sheltair this morning a little after 11 then headed out about 30 minutes later to the south climbing
to a few thousand feet pretty quickly.
BTW that must have been one heckuva fire last week in that building on Rt 109 opposite Runway 1
Sorry for the lens flare, I pulled over on Rt 109 for a couple of quick shots the next day:Originally Posted by Gerard
Looking in the opening on the right as I drove by, it was gutted inside.

NW then a little later a turboprop heading south. Could be the first aircraft out today?
BTW did the Colorado Rockies plane come in today?
I don't see anything on FlightAware, but the Avalanche (not the Rockies) played the Devils and Rangers before the Islanders, so they may have flown out of one of the other area airports.Originally Posted by Gerard
