    Ameristar DC-9-15F EWR (PIX)

A shot of the AJI DC-9-15F that arrived into EWR this afternoon.
Luckily the clouds broke for about 15 mins just as it was arriving.

The Air Canada Sports Charter was there as well.

    Phil,
Not Many. The last 2 operators to fly the 15s and lower were Midwest and NWA If I am correct. They are like little sports cars. I Love those super short series DC-9s.

    Delta777LR,
Its not an ex TWA. Ameristar Registrations Usually end with (TW) N***TW
I shot it at EWR in 2001 when it was flying for Relliant Airlines as (N923R).

    Nice catch Senga!

The only other baby 9 I've seen around is this private -15 (http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6140062) that frequents PBI a lot - usually around this time of year. I did see two in South Africa at the beginning of the year that had come from the US - now registered ZS-PYB - that was a -14.

    Mark,
I shot N305PA as well. I am glad I got it before it went to SA.

    Wow I don't think I have seen N8860. Thats a nice one.

gotta love the little DC-9s!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

N8860 is back in PBI and has been for about 3 weeks parked outside Gama (old PrivatAir). It's been sitting there with the reversers open much like the picture I got of it before. It seems like it's home base in Pittsburgh.
