    Question about Delta Shuttle MD-88s?

Ive been noticing now that Delta Shuttle has painted 3 MD-88s in new colors reigistrations N908DE, N909DE and N914DE with out the (Shuttle) titles. Are they going back to mainline?

it looks like they're staying on the shuttle but due to the fact that the airplanes are used on non-shuttle trips on the weekends they've decided to leave the "delta" branding common to the rest of the fleet.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Re: Question about Delta Shuttle MD-88s?

I read on another board that DL has chosen to no longer have Shuttle titles once the aircraft are repainted, But like US, Shuttle passengers will still probably see some Shuttle branding such as in the dedicated Terminals. Unlike US DL will still have a dedicated fleet of Shuttle aircraft as they are in an all coach larger seat pitch config that In don't think DL wants to change. For the record at US at peak times on weekdays F is almost always full, many FF's still prefer even though there is limited differance in the service on such a short flight.

    Cheers
