Edinburgh, Scotland 29th April 2008 pics (Large post)

Here are some photographs from my local airport that I took yesterday from a publicly accessible viewing point, we dont get the big heavies as such (very occaisionally for one-off visits). As you can see you can get up pretty close, the area I used is about a 10 minute walk from the terminal. All photos were taken in about a 2 hour period, there were others as well but these photos give an idea of what Edinburgh is like.

Nice shots. Although you don't normally get heavies, you do have things that we don't normally see here -- Bae-146 in particular in not popular at all here.

Very nice, Robert. I don't remember anyone posting pics from EDI before. I didn't realize LH still had 737s in their fleet.

Cheers for the comments guys, this is a really nice forum, I only found it when I knew I was visiting NYC for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago, I knew I wouldn't get much photography done as it was a vacation but JFK impressed me a lot. I hope to visit NYC again, maybe use Continental or Delta direct from Edinburgh, although they are very expensive compared with using KLM, I'll probably post some photos from Edinburgh in the future but I get a lot pf pleasure from other peoples post's and photos, maybe even see one of you New York guys visitng over here one day

Walking around London last week, at least 4 out of 5 arrivals I saw heading to London City were 146s.

Adamn, I know what you mean! Loving those BAes!!

And I can't believe the Saab in BA colors looks good. Normally I hate those buzzers.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.
